If you asked me about two years ago what I thought of Ariana Grande, I quite honestly would have told you that I wasn't a huge fan. Until my roommate and friend who is a HUGE fan got me really listening to her. I fought it for a long time...swearing I didn't like her music until I couldn't hide it anymore. I have since learned the error of my ways and I APOLOGIZE FOR EVER THINKING SHE WASN'T A QUEEN. I'm better now (don't worry) and I am honestly becoming a big fan!

That being said, I think this is one of the BEST albums she has made. This album takes us back to "old" Ariana but with a newer twist. The album is a perfect mixture of her style and you can really hear the evolution she's had in her music! My favorite tracks are currently: 'positions' , 'pov,' 'motive', 'just like magic' , '34+35', and 'nasty'. Some honorable mentions are 'shut up' , 'my hair' , and 'west side'.

The rest of the songs, for me, are just OK. To be honest, I wasn't too happy with the features on this album. I love Doja so I was happy to see her be featured but I was hoping for more collaboration with more female artists on the album! However, I am the kind of person that over time my tastes change so maybe I just need to listen to the songs a couple more times to really get into them.

I have had this album on REPEAT the past week and overall, I gotta give it a 4/5. It is fantastic for driving and dancing around in your house. I would not recommend listening to this while you're doing work though...because it will make you want to sing and move around, at least for me it was hard. (lol)

It's a perfect mix of feel good, thoughtful, sexy, and just everything Ari represents! If you're a first time listener to Ariana, I definitely recommend this album!
