The sun is out, the serotonin has skyrocketed, and we're finally breaking out the shorts! 😎
Ok, maybe not exactly shorts weather yet but it's time for me to give you MY recommendations for some good tunes to drive with your windows down too!
Kali Uchis
If you want some luscious indie pop/jazz Kali is your go to. Her music is ideal for lounging around in the sun and soaking up some springtime/summer air!
ABBA
Ok, something about springtime just makes me want to listen to 70's music, specifically disco/funk. ABBA never fails to make me feel like I'm living my 70's fantasy.
Anderson .Paak
Anderson ALWAYS puts me in a good mood. Between his flow, his instrumentation and the amazing production its impossible not to play his tunes during the spring/summer. Instant mood booster!
Rex Orange County
Whether you're looking to just chill out or completely rock out i your car, Rex has got you covered. His music will either put you in a great mood or is perfect for some down time.
Chloe x Halle
This talented duo can get you movin' and groovin' in no time! If you want some RnB vibes, Chloe x Halle is your go to. May I add, if THE Beyoncé is their mentor....you know they're gonna be good.
Clairo
If indie-pop is your thing, you already know about Clairo. Quite honestly, if you're not listening to her while driving in your car or looking up at some cherry blossom trees what are you doing?
Tyler, The Creator
If you know me, you know I'm a huge Tyler fan. Quite honestly, I'm constantly listening to Tyler (in any season) BUT springtime/summer is always prime Tyler time. If you're into Rap or even Indie Pop, Tyler might tickle your fancy!
Donna Summer
Like I said before, 70's music especially Disco gets me in such an amazing mood. Of course, I had to include Donna. DISCO IS NOT DEAD! It shouldn't be anyway.
Ariana Grande
Ariana has been on top of the world in the past couple of years, (for obvious reasons!) her RnB and Dreamy Pop style is perfect for any season but if you're ready to have a sing-a-long in your car...you know Ari is gonna be on the playlist!
Fleetwood Mac
Last but definitely not least, Fleetwood Mac. This is another artist that if you know me, I'm obsessed! Fleetwood Mac is perfect for long early morning spring car rides as the sun is coming up. Windows down with the smell of dew....SO GOOD.
So now you're thinking, "Bianca you just recommended all these people and now I'm going to have to look all of them up separately and put them into a playlist!" Well, yes you can do that.
